What's The Use of Seamless Steel Pipes?

Seamless steel pipe is used so widely. General purpose seamless steel pipe mainly used by the ordinary carbon structural steel, low alloy steel or alloy steel rolling, yield is large. Mainly used as transporting fluids or structural components.

According to different purposes, seamless steel pipe divided into three application, a, according to the chemical composition and mechanical properties to supply; b, according to the mechanical properties to supply; c, according to pressure test to supply. If a and b types pipes are used to withstand the pressure of the liquid, they must be carry out hydrostatic test. 

There are a number of special-purpose seamless pipe, such as boiler seamless pipe, oil seamless pipe and others.
